The Institut Pasteur and ESCP Business School in Paris have developed a new online program for learners preparing to enter the demanding ecosystem of healthcare entrepreneurship. Led by professors Frédéric Jallat (ESCP) and Dominique Franco (Institut Pasteur), this high-level course, taught in English, offers the keys to achieving success in innovation. It includes contributions from international experts in the field and offers access to a global network of professionals.
The program is aimed at scientists and physicians who are interested in launching a startup or developing an innovative project within a company, people looking to join a CRO or an investment fund, and also legal experts interested in regulatory issues and technology transfer.
A course that is compatible with professional commitments
The course is taken entirely online. It is divided into five modules over three months:
-
Understanding the ecosystem;
- Managing opportunities and innovating;
- Addressing issues related to regulatory requirements, intellectual property and clinical trials;
- Marketing and promotion;
- Financing and business development.
Each module comprises 4 to 6 video capsules, a bibliography and around 20 multiple choice questions, and concludes with a webinar that gives participants the opportunity for live discussions with experts and course leaders. The course takes approximately eight days to complete.
