On October 7th, 2021, four researchers from the Institut Pasteur discussed three major public health issues in a programme broadcasted online in partnership with Figaro Partner. The Pasteurians answered questions from journalist Ariane Warlin on the state of research on COVID-19, cancers and antibiotic resistance. In this programme, meet Etienne Simon-Lorière, head of the Evolutionary genomics of RNA viruses group and Lisa Chakrabarti, researcher in the Virus and Immunity unit, who address the COVID-19 pandemic situation and its prospects. Ludovic Deriano, head of the Genome Integrity, Immunity and Cancer unit, addresses the latest advances in the fight against cancer, and Mélanie Hamon, head of the Chromatin and Infection unit, addresses the global threat posed by antibiotic resistance.
