The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) and the Institut Pasteur have signed a specific agreement to develop training and education programs for Abu Dhabian students, both in Paris and Abu Dhabi.

Two hundred years ago, on December 27, 1822, Louis Pasteur was born in the town of Dole, in the Jura region of France. The year 2022 was an opportunity to celebrate Louis Pasteur's scientific and cultural legacy and to give people a chance to discover – or rediscover – his life and work.

2023 will be marked by two major celebrations: the 40th anniversary of the discovery of HIV and the 20th anniversary of the discovery of the first genes involved in autism. Punctuated by these two major events, this new year will illustrate how the Pasteurian legacy is passed on from generation to generation and inspires today’s researchers.
