The Institut Pasteur is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Leica Microsystems, a leading provider of microscopy and scientific instrumentation. This collaboration agreement aims to build a stronger connection between two successful partners in scientific and technological research.

This partnership will serve applications in optical imaging, artificial intelligence, correlative microscopy and electron microscopy specimen preparation and their uses in research and innovation. It will also form a network between research science and microscopy application development, encouraging a culture of training for future talent.

Through working together to share both knowledge and experience, both parties seek to increase the visibility and importance of microscopy in the scientific community and to support each other’s mission through various activities such as the development of educational content for microscopy, training courses and workshops.

“I am delighted to sign this agreement with Leica Microsystems because I am convinced that there is no innovation without technology. I am sure that combining our expertise will be a source of innovative projects for the benefit of health,” added Isabelle Buckle, Head of Research Applications and Industrial Partnerships at the Institut Pasteur.
