The Erasmus + Internships Programme gives the students at any study cycle and recent graduates of the University of Alicante the opportunity of undertaking a working experience in companies, institutions and organizations located in another country member of the EU.

CALLS AND SELECTIONS
Selections are carried out through a public call for applications based upon competitive criteria, complying with the following requirements:
- CV
- Cover letter
- Good knowledge of the language requiered for the host institution
Schedule:
- June/July: Registration period for students and recent graduates.
- September and October: Preselection of candidatures and sending of the CVs of the candidates that fit the requirements of each offer. The companies/institutions select among the candidates sent by the university. If it is necessary the applications are evaluated by a Commission on the basis of the following criteria: average marks of passed examination.
- Traineeship starting date: They could start at any time from January on.
The duration internship is between a minimum 2 and a maximum of 4 months, although it may be longer until maximum of 12 months without grant, depending on the student profile. The limit date for the training will be determined by both parts, traineer and Institute Pasteur.
PLACEMENT METHOD AT INSTITUTE PASTEUR
Procedure at Pasteur for Erasmus candidates is that the students apply directly with their cv to the lab that works on a subject they are interested in. Labs then interview the students and decide whether they want to host her/him for an internship.
Institute Pasteur help the choice by providing a list of projects submitted by labs who are interested in hosting an Erasmus student. The contact person for each project is listed in the document.
The acceptance of a candidate by the host laboratory should be confirmed through a formal letter (e-mail). After the acceptance, the tutor can plan with the trainee the start date of the placement, the logistic aspects, etc.
