The CIUP is located in the south of Paris, at 17 Boulevard Jourdan, within a 34-hectare park. It comprises 43 residences and shared facilities (swimming pool, stadium, theater, university restaurant, etc.), as well as numerous support services (administrative procedures, daily life assistance, housing search support). Each year, it welcomes 12,000 students and researchers from 150 nationalities.
ELIGIBILITY TO INSTITUT PASTEUR-ALLOCATED ACCOMMODATIONS AT THE CIUP
The accomodation is reserved for adults who are not residents of the Paris region.
Students pursuing studies at a minimum Master’s level (Bac+4) or equivalent:
- PhD students
- Students enrolled in Institut Pasteur courses who have confirmed their registration with the Registrar's Division of the Education Center
- Interns whose internship conditions have been approved by the Human Resources Department (signed internship agreement)
Post-doctoral researchers:
- External researchers (OREX) whose collaboration with an Institut Pasteur team has been approved by the Human Resources Department (research agreement)
- Institut Pasteur employees
- Members of the Pasteur Network
HOUSING SUPPLY
-18 studios for one person are available in the Pavillon Pierre et Marie Curie of the Emile and Louise Deutsch de la Meurthe Foundation and the Franco-British College.
The studios are furnished and have a bathroom, an equipped kitchen with hotplates, microwave oven, refrigerator, and internet network. Bed sheets and blankets are provided, but not towels. A laundry room is available.
-40 individual comfort rooms in the Pavillon Pasteur of the Emile and Louise Deutsch de la Meurthe Foundation and the Franco-British College.
Rooms with shower and toilet, single bed, and shared kitchen on the floor. Bed linen is provided and laundered. A cleaning service is performed once a week.
-7 studios for two people at the Maison des Provinces de France, with sink, shower, toilet, and kitchenette.
The duration of the stay via the Institut Pasteur partnership is limited to 1 year.
For students, the duration of the stay may be extended to 3 years, outside the partnership, subject to the acceptance of a renewal request, to be renewed annually with the CIUP admissions service.
Children cannot be accepted, and over-occupancy is only allowed under the conditions specified by each residence.

Accommodation requests are considered once the applicant has been accepted into a course, or their internship agreement has been validated, or all administrative conditions of their stay at Institut Pasteur are met. Depending on the availability of accommodations, the applicant will receive approval or refusal of their request. After acceptance, the reservation is subject to validation by the CIUP.
FINANCIAL TERMS
The studios and rooms are rented monthly.
A security deposit must be paid upon key collection at the CIUP reception house. The refund will be made by the CIUP after the exit inventory.
