Monday, Sept. 15th, 2014 a press conference held in the Institut Pasteur in Montevideo for the announcement of a Human Genomics project’s signature, between the Institut Pasteur in Montevideo and National University of Seoul. This project, supported by the Korean fund of the Inter-American Development Bank aims to develop in Uruguay, capacities to sequence the human genome for applications in research, genomic medicine and for the development of technologies and drugs.
