The Institut Pasteur takes part in European Heritage Days 2024!
You can find us on page 15 of the DRAC Île-de-France program. The European Heritage Days are organized by the French Ministry of Culture, and implemented throughout the Ile-de-France region by the Direction régionale des affaires culturelles (DRAC) d'Île-de-France.
On the program for these two days, Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm:
- An exhibition entitled “RNA routes, from the discovery of the messenger to Katalin Karikó's Nobel Prize”.
Through three sections, the exhibition sheds light on the biological, historical and human path of this messenger, which has led to major scientific and medical advances. - Filmmaker Raphaël Hitier will present his documentary “Les aventuriers de l'ARN” (2023) on Sunday September 22 at 4pm.
There will be an opportunity to chat with him after the screening. - Guided tours “Louis Pasteur : la rage de connaître”. The Ecole normale supérieure (ENS), Ulm street, and the Institut Pasteur, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, will be open together for the first time as part of the European Heritage Days 2024, inviting you to take a combined tour in the footsteps of the great scientist.
- Musical surprises will punctuate the weekend.
