The Talent Awards highlight young and dynamic profiles with great scientific potential and who demonstrated a strong sense of initiative within the Pasteur Network.
Every two years themes will alternate with a recurrent edition dedicated to Scientific Communication and another edition which will be defined by the Pasteur Network and IP Paris.
Award
Successful candidates will receive an invitation to the reception for the Talent Awards and twenty thousand euros (20.000€) as a reward, paid to the awardee’s host institute.
The allocation of the price is the following:
- 4.000€ will be given directly to the researcher
- 16.000€ will be given to the researcher’s unit*
The financial support is intended to reward a candidate who has combined a firm scientific approach and demonstrate a strong sense of initiative in the theme of the Award. The goal is also to help the candidate to fund their professional development and encourage their work in a specific field.
This year marks the first edition of the Talent Awards dedicated to Science & Communication.
Only one candidate per institute can be nominated. The application must be supported by the director of their host institute.
